Blackfire torches and lanterns are like no other. The clever concept and design makes these torches and lanterns extremely versatile and very much suited to life aboard a boat.
This powerful LED lantern incorporates a clamp so you can clip this light wherever you need it, whether that is to your engine bay hatch whilst you check your fluids, or to a cupboard or rail, this lantern will clamp virtually anywhere and stay where you put it. Alternatively, there is a swivel up handle you can use to suspend the lantern, perfect if you need more light in a cabin or at your chart table.
It can also convert to a freestanding light by pressing the clamp and sliding the lock feature. The head also pivots so that you can direct light where you need it.
The lantern uses two separate LEDs for improved optics and performance, combined with an IC chip for more consistent light output. The brilliant white LEDs emit an intense beam of bright, reliable light. There are four power settings – Lantern, up to 230 lumens of light in high mode or 95 lumens in low – Torch, up to 100 lumens – Strobe for added visibility.
Made from tough plastic with a rubberised coating for extra grip and durability with stainless steel springs and pins. The lens is polycarbonate which is extremely tough and resistant to cracking or scratching.
This lantern requires 3 AA batteries. Batteries are not included. An indicator lights shows battery levels, high to low.
This Blackfire lantern can also be used as a torch and is weatherproof (IPX4), so if you find yourself needing to find your way back to the boat along the towpath after a visit to the local hostelry this lantern and torch will light the way.
